CONSUMER AGE VERIFICATION POLICY

Effective Date: December 3, 2025

1. Purpose

This Consumer Age Verification Policy (“Policy”) describes how ClamCams restricts access to adult content and implements additional age verification controls in jurisdictions that require it.

2. Scope

This Policy applies to all visitors and users (“consumers”) accessing ClamCams websites and any pages or features that display or provide access to adult content.

3. Baseline Age Restriction (18+)

ClamCams restricts access to adult content and platform features to users who are eighteen (18) years or older.

4. Jurisdiction-Based Age Verification (U.S. State AVS Laws)

ClamCams implements jurisdiction-based age verification controls for U.S. states that require age verification.

4.1 Jurisdiction Detection

ClamCams uses geolocation signals (e.g., IP-based location and related indicators) to determine whether a user appears to be accessing the site from a jurisdiction with mandatory age verification requirements.

4.2 Step-Up Age Verification

When a user is detected in a jurisdiction requiring age verification, ClamCams requires the user to complete age verification prior to accessing adult content and/or restricted features.

4.3 Verification Provider

Age verification is performed through Yoti (or an equivalent third-party provider) using approved verification methods. The provider’s result is used solely to grant or deny access.

4.4 Data Minimization & Recordkeeping

ClamCams retains only the minimum necessary verification outcome (for example, pass/fail, timestamp, and a reference token), and does not store unnecessary sensitive identity information. Records are maintained securely with role-based access controls and audit logging.

4.5 Failure to Verify

If age verification cannot be completed or is unsuccessful, access is denied for jurisdictions requiring age verification.

5. Updates

This Policy may be updated to reflect changes in applicable laws, card-brand requirements, or operational practices. The latest version is published on the ClamCams website.
